- Please note that items are customised by people thus do allow some room for slight variations and small imperfections.
- Items are thoroughly checked before sending out. However should you spot any defects on the balloon itself upon handover, please contact us immediately.
Delivery/Self-Collection
Please ensure that you’ve chosen your preferred delivery/ self-collection timeslot and date at the checkout page.
Delivery ($10 – $25) will be made within the time frame, please ensure that there will be someone to receive your order.
Delivery for customised gifts is $10 per trip, +$5 for Sentosa addresses.
Delivery for helium balloons is $20 per trip, +$5 for Sentosa addresses.
Self collection is available at 22 New Industrial Road.
Please check the lead time before you place the order.
Delivery can only be made to areas/ addresses with postal codes and unit number. Incomplete or incorrect addresses will hinder the delivery process and might incur a re-delivery charge. We are not able to deliver to areas without postal codes such as bus stops, open air car parks, barbeque pits, roadsides.

How long will the balloons last?
With the proper care (refer to dos and don’ts), our balloons will have the following lifespans.
JoyAvenue strongly do not recommend collection or delivery more than 2 hours from time of celebration due to limited balloon lifespans (below). We will not be liable should you decide to do so. There will be no refunds, replacements or exchanges.

Do note that as time passes, latex balloons will very gradually shrink and turn cloudy due to exposure to air and sunlight. Keeping them away from direct sunlight and in cooler areas will delay it. However, the balloons are still pretty, fun and whimsical even if they are slightly cloudy and slightly smaller!
DOS:
- Do place balloons in a cool environment (but not too cold as the balloons would seem slightly smaller)
- Do treat the balloons with gentle care
- Do keep balloons away from high heat, rough surfaces and sharp objects
- Do opt for collection/delivery 1-2 hours before your celebration to ensure that they look their best. It is not recommended to opt for delivery/collection for more than 2 hours before your celebration.
DONTS:
- Don’t place latex balloons in direct sunlight (placing latex balloons in direct sunlight will turn your balloons cloudy fast)
- Don’t leave balloons in the car without the air-condition turned on
- Don’t place in the car boot
- Don’t assert large force on the balloons
- Don’t place balloons where there are very strong winds

Please take note that it is normal for bubbles to form in the customisation or for add-on LED lights to loosen as time passes due to the natural and gradual shrinkage of balloons. There will be no refunds, replacements or exchanges offered.
As balloons pass their expected lifespan, weaken floatation and balloons not looking full (wrinkled or soft) is expected and natural.

What is mock-up?
Mock-up (+$5) is a digital preview of the design before it is processed. Orders with mock-up have to be made 3 days in advance.
Mock-up is sent via WhatsApp or email 24-48 hours before your selected delivery or collection date and time slot. It will only include the design and not the colour(s) of the balloon.
Can I change the design?
Yes, one minor change is allowed (eg. placement and size). Therefore if you have a specific design in mind, please let us know as soon as possible at least 48 hours before your selected delivery or collection date and time slot. However once a mock-up is sent, only a minor changed is allowed.
What should I expect?
- Your item will be personalised exactly as you have written (please double check spelling, punctuation and use of capital letters)
- We will strategically break up the words into separate lines so that it will appear larger and to accommodate any other design. (Eg. Instead of “Just Married” in one line, we will separate the words into 2 lines for optimal size)
- Please note that the longer your text, the smaller it will be.
- Due to the font type used please do not use all capitals in your personalisation as it will be very difficult to read.
- We recommend using shorter words (eg. “congrats” instead of “congratulations”) as space is limited on each balloon/gift and have to follow a set of specific dimensions. The longer the word, the smaller it will appear on the actual item. However if a specific spelling has to be followed or if it is a name, no worries, we can use a bolder font so it will appear slightly bigger.
Can I choose a specific design?
Yes you can. If you see a design you like on JOYAVENUE’s Instagram or website, let us know via WhatsApp or email and we will follow accordingly. In this case. if you’re comfortable, you would not need a mock-up. However, please take note that there might be slight differences due to length or size of text.
Should you wish to include a company logo or use your own artwork, please drop us a message via WhatsApp. If our program is able to process the image, we can use it.
Can I choose the colour(s) of balloon(s)?
Yes! If a drop down list is available, simply select your preferred colour. If there is a text box, key in your preferred colour(s). Be as specific as possible or we will choose the best matching combination with the information provided.
Examples:
Only one colour – “dark pink only”
Multiple colours – “white, light pink, dark pink”
Colour theme – “pink” (designers will pick the best pink combination, it might be 2-3 colours)
Specific colours from our website or social media platforms – “Design as discussed via WhatsApp”
In the event that you have specific colours you want, please let us know at least 48 hours before your selected delivery or collection date and time slot. For same day orders, let us know immediately after order is placed. Colours strictly cannot be changed once the order has been processed.
